The Congregation of the Sisters of the Cross was founded by Claudine Echernier in 1838 at Chavanod- a little village of Savoy in the South East of France. Claudine Echernier was a woman of deep faith, self-sacrificing love, integrity of character, hard work,
patient, and endurance, generous and forgiving spirit, committed to the cause of God’s Kingdom. Having experienced the Love of God in her life, she longed to “Make the Good God known and Loved”. With this aim, she devoted her time to eradicating ignorance and misery among children, youth, and women. The main purpose of this institution is to provide education to the underprivileged, giving them a fighting chance in today’s world. The school has obtained centum results in the Public exam both in SSLC and HSLC, ever since it started. To encourage and develop the inherent talents of the students, the institution has set up various curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities.
The school keeps the parents updated through Whats app services. That is also an effective means of easy communication
with parents and staff. The values and attitudes developed here help the students to build together communities of freedom, fellowship, and justice. With a special concern for the poor, the intuition strives to reveal the merciful love of God and the liberating power of Christ. We look upon humanity and the entire creation with love and respect and hope trying to find God’s love at work and to realize our motto SERVE WITH LOVE.
