At the beginning of a new Academic Year, I look at the scenario of education that is fast evolving in every sense of the word. While the students are bombarded with ideas, guides, plans and dreams through digital world and technology seems to offer support persons to instruct the child far beyond AI through humanoids, education having become another business, and while the parents desperately look for worthy education for their children, some are able to decide on Schools of academic repute with affordable fees structure, others reach for any School that enables its Students to score high percentage of Marks and offers concession etc.

Education not only equips the Children with knowledge and trains them to achieve high academic achievement in a particular exam, but also helps the Children to cultivate themselves into wholesome individuals.
Education helps the Child to discover the power within oneself to live a happy, healthy, fruitful, successful life and to be a builder of the society. Education must develop self-confidence, critical thinking and decision making, build up one who is mentally strong, socially and intellectually productive by increasing one’s knowledge level and enhancing one’s skills.
Today, Children can access knowledge easily; it is in their hands but to choose what is good and useful, for direction and support, they need a community whose members love them and affirm their worth.
Here in Holy Cross we receive students who meet the requirements of having good will to acquire knowledge and ready to pay the price in terms of personal efforts, good cooperation and collaboration with their teachers, self- discipline and determination to grow and develop as a well-informed, skilful, resilient individuals who are priceless pearls to their families and society.
As every parent has a dream for their child, every child has a dream. The Educators in Holy Cross, Oddanchatram, respect and mentor the Child to shape its choices and pathways to achieve its dream. Not only the bright child, but every Child is welcome to Holy Cross to begin and to proceed with its journey of intellectual growth, personal development and professional success.
Holy Cross Matric. Hr. Sec. School, assists the Students by giving personal attention, and all round development of the Child is our priority. Our Campus has a very good ambience for learning, safety of the Children, worthy Infrastructure, fittingly equipped Laboratories, experienced Teachers, gentle and reassuring Staff. Everyone and everything will certainly touch the Child for its positive growth and transformation.
